If you are pierced and have a properly fitting barbell (or other removable jewelry), use the inside width of the barbell or the distance between the piercing openings when ordering.
If you are not pierced and have any doubt about your nipple size, you may make your own measuring guide by cutting different sized holes in a sheet of cardboard or using a circle template (available from any office supply store) and trying each hole on your nipples. The fit should be snug enough to stay on, but not too snug. A tight nipple shield can become uncomfortable! It is better to have them slightly large and use a little makeup adhesive to hold them on than risk having them too tight. For the adventurous, nipple clamps work too! Take your time measuring as we want you to enjoy these shields as much as we do.
Sterling or gold nipple shields come with your choice of nipple openings. Sizes are measured in inches in diameter. Other sizes available as custom orders.

Our experience has been that many people have nipples that don't exactly match in size and there is no extra charge for ordering two different sized shields. You will be asked to specify the size when ordering each shield.
